The kitchen preset uses 300 lx as an editable starting point. Real needs depend on tasks, user age, surface colours, fixtures and local requirements.

How to use the result

Compare at least two fixture sets. Check not only total lumens but also beam angle, glare, CRI, colour temperature and controls.

Most common mistake

One strong central fixture may provide enough average light but poor uniformity. The planner visualises a grid but does not simulate a photometric distribution.
